Access to ESSArch

To continue this course, you should have access to an ESSArch archival system. Instructions on how to install this system can be found here. All of the following chapters assume that you have superuser access to the system.

An ES Solutions demo environment can be accessed at https://eark.essarch.org/ (login: superuser/superuser)

The basic steps for a Docker installation are shown below (Python & manual installation options are available using the above link)

1. Install Linux
2. Install Docker & Docker compose
3. Follow the GitHub instructions
4. Login with superuser/superuser

You can, of course, undertake the tutorial without access, but then you will lose a lot of the important content and the practical experience of using the system
